Greetings,
I have been specializing in the practice of equine medicine and surgery since qualifying in the USA
in 1997 (Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine), and have been practicing
veterinary medicine in the United Kingdom since 2001. I am very happy to work in sole charge
situations as well as part of a team in larger practices. I come equipped with my own satellite navigation
systems to reduce the problems of ambulatory work in unfamiliar locales.
I have a large amount of experience in first opinion work and have advanced training in equine surgery
and feel in this area I am strongest in abdominal surgery and fracture repair. Please see my CV for more
specific information in this area. I also have extensive experience in equine general anesthesia and have
performed approximately 1000 general anesthetics on horses and ponies of all ages.
I am based in the southeast of England near the city of Eastbourne in East Sussex.
I am happy to travel to any location in England and Wales and would consider Scotland
in some situations. I am registered with Inland Revenue as a limited company and handle all
billing for services rendered, under that classification.
I do not require posh accommodation while working for your practice and travel with no
pets or other companions however, a broadband Internet connection is preferred at the
accommodation to allow me to stay in touch with my family and to perform research.
